Non-UMOD version

These instructions will guide you through installing Clone Bandits using the "Non_UMOD" zip file.

Keep in mind that there is a UMOD installer available that will automatically install Clone Bandits using Unreal Tournament 2004's built in mod support. Not only is this UMOD installer generally easier to use, but it supports features like the ability to detect where you have installed Unreal Tournament 2004 as well as the ability to un-install Clone Bandits (if you should ever want to do such a thing). To install Clone Bandits:

1. First, close any running copies of Unreal Tournament 2004.

2. make sure that you have installed the latest patches to UT2004. EPIC patches are available here: http://www.unrealtournament.com/ut2004/downloads.php

3. Next, simply extract the contents of the CloneBandits_1.1_No_UMOD.zip file into your Unreal Tournament 2004 directory. By default the Unreal Tournament 2004 directory is "C:\UT2004" but yours may be different. When you extract the zip to your UT2004 directory, you will be warned that destination directories such as "Animation" already exist. Do not worry, this is normal and no files will be overwritten.

4. Once the zip is fully extracted, you are ready to play. Refer to "Readme.txt" in the \ClonesMod\Help\ directory for instructions on how to play.

UMOD version

These instructions will guide you through installing Clone Bandits using the UMOD file.

To install Clone Bandits:

1. First, close any running copies of Unreal Tournament 2004.

2. make sure that you have installed the latest patches to UT2004. EPIC patches are available here: http://www.unrealtournament.com/ut2004/downloads.php

3. Double click the CloneBandits.ut4mod file contained in the CloneBandits_1.1_Installer.zip, then follow the instructions.

4. Once the installer has finished "Installing Files...", click the "Release Notes" button, or open the Readme.txt file located within your UT2004 directory in ...\ClonesMod\Help\ for instructions on how to play.
