Deadpool Uncanny X-Force

"The Merc with the Mouth is back and I've picked up an extra star! I've spent a lot of time hanging out with Wolverine (I call him "Wolvie!") and Psylocke, as a really important member of their super top-secret X-Force team. You know how it is: black-and-white pajamas, covert ops, inter-dimensional crime fighting, save the universe kind of stuff. No big deal." - Deadpool

Deadpool's back, more deadly, more monochrome, and more annoying to other heroes than ever. This version of the not-quite-a-mutant member of the X-Family comes from his time on the Uncanny X-Force, Wolverine and Psylocke's secret black-ops team that took care of threats before they arose. Despite facing some truly horrific circumstances, such as being reduced to a skinny husk by Apocalypse's horseman Famine or frozen and shattered into tiny chunks by an evil alternate-reality Iceman, Deadpool managed to keep his sense of humor. Deadpool eventually became the team's unlikely moral center, proving that even though people treat him like an idiot, he's often one of the smartest assassins turned heroes in the room.

X-Enforcer - 0 Black AP

(PASSIVE) Say what you want about Deadpool, but I’m always looking out for my buds! Whenever an ally of mine takes more than 685 damage, I sharpen my swords and strike back! I create a 1-turn Countdown tile that deals 409 damage.

Level 2 - Deadpool strikes back for 573 damage!

Level 3 - Deadpool strikes back for 736 damage!

Level 4 - Deadpool strikes back for 1063 damage!

Level 5 - Deadpool strikes back for 1718 damage!

Max Level - (PASSIVE) Say what you want about Deadpool, but I’m always looking out for my buds! Whenever an ally of mine takes more than 1357 damage, I sharpen my swords and strike back! I create a 1-turn Countdown tile that deals 3406 damage.

Countdown for What - 7 Purple AP

Shhhhhh! I just made like 4 fake 3-turn Countdown tiles on the bad guys’ strongest color tiles. These tiles don’t do anything, but don’t tell anyone. If anything destroys them before they reach zero, each one is primed to deal 402 damage to the sucker on the other team!

Level 2 - Makin' 4 4-turn dummy tiles that do 442 damage.

Level 3 - Makin' 5 4-turn dummy tiles that do 442 damage.

Level 4 - Makin' 5 4-turn dummy tiles that do 667 damage.

Level 5 - Makin' 6 5-turn dummy tiles that do 764 damage.

Max Level - Shhhhhh! I just made like 6 fake 5-turn Countdown tiles on the bad guys’ strongest color tiles. These tiles don’t do anything, but don’t tell anyone. If anything destroys them before they reach zero, each one is primed to deal 1512 damage to the sucker on the other team!

Digging into the Character

By Casey, Designer on Marvel Puzzle Quest

Y'all ready for 'Pool? Unsurprisingly, Deadpool (It's Me, Deadpool!) was one of our most popular characters, and since introducing him he's become a regular feature of Story events with Deadpool's Daily Quest, Deadpool Vs. Marvel Puzzle Quest and even popping up in the Meet Rocket & Groot. event But still, the people clamored, "More Deadpool! Oh Wade Wilson, why have you foresaken us?! When will you come back, maybe with fewer colors and one more star!" And we listened. Meet Deadpool (Uncanny X-Force)!

As his name might suggest, this is Deadpool from Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force. X-Force was a more serious story with only a slightly more serious Deadpool - he didn't talk to the camera or break the fourth wall, he just wouldn't ever shut up. To capture that, our character design steered away from those winks and nods that told you Wade knows he's in a game (sorry, Whales! fans), and instead focused on his penchant for deadliness and reluctant team-work.

Out of Bullets showcases the first part of that equation - stealth team, serious or not, Deadpool's gonna Deadpool and nothing says Deadpool like a bunch of sword damage and a boost from his healing factor. And because this is Deadpool, that's true healing, not just a burst of health. X-Enforcer covers the teamwork aspect of Uncanny X-Force, as he strikes back against attacks, getting vengeance for his buddies. Players facing Deadpool will have to prioritize taking him out first, or else face some serious repercussions for going after his friends.

Finally there's the whole "super secret assassin" thing by putting down a bunch of bombs inside Countdown tiles on the enemy's strongest color. If they want that sweet, sweet strongest color AP, they're going to have to match them away and them, ba-ba-BOOM! Damage up the yin-yang. And if you find a way to get rid of those tiles then all the faster to explode whatever nerds in tights Deadpool's facing. Hmm, I wonder if Deadpool knows anyone who can remove a bunch of tiles in the enemy's strongest color?

I feel bad now for Demiurge, under the supervison for SEGA, who will go bankrupt down the road, and Demiurge will be no more, all because of a lousy licensed game…. Goodbye Demiurge, you will be missed for your mass effect port… jump ship with the best talent, cause it will get worse from here and any IP Demiurge owned is now owned by sega

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and
clear your mind before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting
my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing
but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
Cheers!
